Neatbase Pro

Neatbase Pro removes the free plan's limits and adds sharing, web forms, and the REST API. It's a single yearly subscription that covers all your devices — see pricing for current rates. This page covers what's included, how to subscribe, and how to manage it.

What You Get

Neatbase Pro removes all limits and gives you access to every feature:

• Unlimited notebooks — Create as many notebooks as you need.
• Unlimited notes — No cap on how many notes you can add to a notebook.
• Formula fields — Compute values automatically from other numeric fields.
• Reference fields — Link notes across notebooks.
• Web Forms — Publish web forms and collect responses from anyone.
• Sharing — Share notebooks with others using end-to-end encrypted links. The people you invite don't need Pro.
• Comments fields — Keep a running activity log on any note.
• REST API — Access your data programmatically from external tools and scripts.

Free vs. Pro

The free plan is a complete app, not a trial — no time limit and no ads. Pro is for when you outgrow the capacity limits, or you want to collaborate and connect other tools.

How to Subscribe

There are a couple of ways to start a Pro subscription:

• From the menu bar on Mac — Choose Neatbase → Upgrade to Pro.
• When you hit a limit — If you try to create a fourth notebook, add a 101st note to a notebook, or use a Pro-only feature, the upgrade screen appears automatically.

Neatbase Pro is a yearly subscription, billed through the App Store. Payment and renewal are handled entirely by Apple.

Managing Your Subscription

To view or cancel your subscription:

1. On Mac, choose Neatbase → Manage Subscription. On iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
2. This takes you to your App Store subscription management page.

From there, you can see your renewal date, change your plan, or cancel. If you cancel, you'll keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period.

What happens if Pro ends

Your notebooks and notes are never deleted, and everything you've written stays readable and editable. But the features that depend on Neatbase's servers do get switched off, about a week after your subscription lapses:

• Published web forms stop accepting responses. The form keeps its address, so re-subscribing and publishing again reuses the same link.
• Notebooks you share are un-shared, and your collaborators lose access. Your copy stays, with all its notes.
• Notebooks other people shared with you are removed from your device. They still exist for the owner — you can re-join from the original link.

You'll also drop back to the free plan's limits for anything new: three notebooks, and 100 notes in each.

Family Sharing

Neatbase Pro is set up for Family Sharing, so one subscription covers everyone in your family group at no extra cost. Turn on sharing for the subscription in your Apple account settings, and family members get Pro access on their own devices automatically.

Restoring Purchases

If you've already subscribed (for example, on another device or after reinstalling the app), you can restore your purchase:

1. Open the upgrade screen.
2. Click Restore Purchase.

The app checks with the App Store and activates Pro if a valid subscription is found.

iCloud Sync

Your Pro subscription status syncs across all your devices through your Apple account. Subscribe on your Mac and your iPhone and iPad will unlock Pro automatically, as long as they're signed into the same Apple account.

Your notebooks, notes, and all your data also sync across devices through iCloud. Everything stays up to date.
